Great selection of items, neatly organized, and reasonable prices. The owner is also lovely and runs the shop with his wife. 100% will return in the future.

My friend and I were asked to leave the store after about just five minutes inside. We were standing and talking with each other for a few minutes, but we weren't blocking the walkway or anything, and the store owner came and told us "I've got a business to run, you need to leave, there's a coffee shop up the street if you want to be talking." Bizarre. It's not like our conversation was getting in the way of customers, we weren't blocking the path, and it's a huge store. Felt unwelcome and will not return. It's not the only store in DTA that has a weird vibe like this.

I typically do not write reviews, but I am sharing this experience to inform future customers who may not fit the store’s typical clientele. I entered the store while the attendant, Ray, was assisting another customer. He was friendly, conversational, and engaged in personal small talk. I asked what time the store closes, and he stated that it closes at 7:00 PM. While that customer completed her purchase, I browsed the silver jewelry near the front desk. Because the lighting in the store is dim, I moved items a short distance to a nearby lamp to view them more clearly. After the previous customer left, Ray’s demeanor toward me changed. He became quiet, tapped on the glass display case, questioned why I was removing items to look at them, and instructed me to use my phone flashlight instead, stating he had never seen anyone browse jewelry that way. While I was still actively shopping and looking at low-priced items, he asked how long I would be taking because he wanted to close early, even though it was before 7:00 PM and the store was still open. I completed a small purchase and left shortly after. I will not be returning.

Silk Road has THE best selection and unique finds. The curation is so intentional. Such gems ! Ray is the sweetest and so knowledgeable. This is truly a passion. So happy I walked into this shop!! My favorite in Annapolis!!

One of my favorite store i’ve been to as far as the style of the items & the display goes!! Prices are on the higher end but you can expect quality, eclectic items ! Lamp heaven!
